United Airlines is uniting with animal advocates and taking a stand against cruelty to whales and dolphins. Add United to the long list of companies that are cutting ties with SeaWorld.
Just weeks after Southwest Airlines ended its quarter-century-long partnership with SeaWorld, United Airlines has removed all SeaWorld promotions from its vacations website. More appropriate are the whale-watching trips and other animal-friendly activities that the airline recommends for travelers.
Thanks to everyone who asked United to stop promoting marine-mammal captivity. And as always, help keep the pressure on SeaWorld until all the animals it imprisons are free.
